The Minnesota Jets Holiday Camp offers a day of fun and engaging activities for students while parents and guardians enjoy a stress-free opportunity to shop, relax, or run errands. Students will participate in crafts, cookie decorating, tumbling, and cheer routine practice. During the camp, a holiday movie and music will be played to create a festive and joyful atmosphere. At pick-up, parents can watch a short cheer performance by students who choose to participate in the cheer routine practice.

- Full Day (includes lunch): 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Holiday Camp
Rotating Activities (11:15 AM - 12:30 PM / 3:15 PM - 4:30 PM)
Students will rotate through the following activities or can choose to remain at their preferred station:- Craft Station: Create festive crafts like ornaments, paper snowflakes, or garlands.
- Gift Station: Make holiday cards, handprint keepsakes, or small gifts for loved ones.
- Cookie Decorating & Treat Station: Decorate cookies or other treats with festive toppings.
- Tumbling Station: Practice tumbling skills, including bridges, cartwheels, walkovers, and more!
- Holiday Movie Corner: Watch a portion of a general holiday movie in a relaxed setting.
- Games/Activities: Enjoy options like coloring sheets, scavenger hunts, or interactive games.
Cheer Routine Practice or Alternative Activity (12:30 PM - 1:45 PM / 4:30 PM - 5:45 PM)

Cheer Routine Practice: Students will learn a short cheer routine taught by older cheerleaders and coaches. This routine will be performed for parents at pick-up. Activities include:
- Learning motions, jumps, and formations
- Adding basic stunts and tumbling
- Full run-throughs with music

Alternative Activity for Non-Cheer Participants: Students who prefer not to participate in cheer practice can enjoy:
- Additional craft projects
- Watching more of the holiday movie
- Supervised games or interactive activities
Cheer Routine Showcase & Pick-Up
- Parents are encouraged to arrive before the camp session ends to watch their child perform the routine they learned during Cheer Routine Practice.
- Non-cheer participants can be signed out upon parent arrival.
***Lunch Break (Full-Day Students Only): 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM***
- Students staying for the full day will have a supervised lunch with sandwiches, chips, fruit, and juice.
- During lunch, students can relax, socialize, or watch more of the holiday movie.
Acknowledgment of Risk and Authorization for Medical Treatment
Cheerleading, as with any sport, carries inherent risks. While our coaches take every precaution to minimize these risks, injuries may still occur. These injuries can range from minor bumps, bruises, and overstretched muscles to more severe injuries. By registering for the Minnesota Jets Holiday Camp, I hereby authorize the camp coaches, staff, medical personnel, or any individual with appropriate training and/or authority to make medical decisions on behalf of my child in the event of injury or illness.Hold Harmless Agreement
I agree to hold harmless the Minnesota Jets organization, its coaches, staff, volunteers, and any associated facilities or entities for any injury, illness, or other incidents that may arise during my child’s participation in the Minnesota Jets Holiday Camp, including but not limited to activities, practices, events, and/or performances.Media Release
I understand that photos and/or videos of my child may be taken individually and/or with their group during camp activities for use in training materials, promotional content, social media posts, and/or other public media. I acknowledge that I have the right to refuse the use of my child’s images for promotional or media purposes by submitting a written request to the Minnesota Jets organization.Acknowledgment of Release and Waiver
